What are the service statuses?

TecMe has the following statuses for tracking services: Pending, Scheduled, In Progress, and Completed

Pending

When a service is created it is immediately put into the "Pending" status. This status means that the technician has not reviewed and accepted the service. Once a technician has reviewed and accepted the service the status is updated to Scheduled.

Scheduled

A scheduled service means the service has been accepted by a technician and is ready to begin at the scheduled date and time. During this time, the customer and technician may communicate through in-app chat or phone calls to help prepare for a successful service.

The service can be still be rescheduled or canceled while it is Scheduled (subject to TecMe's cancellation policy). The technician will be able to begin the service starting 15 minutes before the scheduled date and time.

In Progress

A service is in progress when the technician begins working. During this time the technician should be in the remote session or at the service location and performing work. The technician is able to track their time using the service duration.

Completed

Once the technician has completed the service, they will mark it as complete. Once it has been marked as complete the technician may no longer adjust the timer or create remote sessions (for remote services).

There may be many services under one booking to be complete, so once all services are either Completed or Cancelled the technician can review and send the invoice to bill the customer.
