Description

The service timer tracks the amount of time the technician has clocked for a service.

The timer begins when the technician starts the service and can no longer be updated after they have completed the service.

A technician can clock in and out at any time while the service is In Progress so that only the time they have spent working on the service is represented in the service duration.

Hourly Services

For hourly services, the tracked service duration is multiplied by their rate to reach a billing amount. Before the invoice is sent, the technician can review and alter the service duration for hourly services once more before sending an invoice to the customer to ensure the right amount is billed.
