Parts Guide

What are parts?

Parts can be anything needed or recommended to perform the IT service. Parts can be purchased by either the technician or the customer.

Website

Adding a part to a service:

Step 1 - Navigate to your Bookings page, and click on the View Details button of the booking in which you want to add parts.

Step 2 - Click on the Add Part button on the Service details page.

Step 3 - Fill out the part's details and click Submit button to add it into the service.

Billing for a part:

Step 1 - When you click the Complete Service button once you've finished performing the service a pop-up will appear to finalize the parts you've added to the service. This finalization screen will ask you if you had to push any of the added parts, if so, answer Yes to bill in the invoice. If the answer is Yes, you would need to upload a receipt for the part. Once the receipt is uploaded successfully, you can click on Complete Service button to finalize the service.

Editing a part:

A part can be edited by simply clicking the pencil icon next to the part's name.

Deleting a part:

A part can be deleted by simply clicking the trash can icon next to the part's name.

Step 1 - Tap on the booking and service that needs a part added to it.

Step 2 - Tap on the Add a Part button.

Step 3 - Fill out the form and tap Add Part to finalize the part and add it into the service.

Step 4 - The new part will now show in the service to you and your customer.
